Awesomeness in plain text
World Peace? REALLY??
Tuesday, April 16, 2013 @ 4/16/2013 07:53:00 PM

April 15th will now be a day to remember for the people in Boston. It was just one morning and the marathon was on..... until suddenly just meters from the finish line, a bomb blasted. Another blast followed, this time further away, about 30 seconds later.

More than 140 injured, 3 life losses.

Once again, this reminds us of how unpredictable life is, and it will still be. It is really ironic knowing the fact than the world is enhancing so rapidly today (and some even call this "globalization"), but chaos still occur so frequently. People say that having languages, like English, or maybe the internet or even different cultures as a communicating agent between people worldwide would foster connection, peace, unity and love. We agree most of the time, but there are times when we would have to stop and think twice if it is really true, or just simply bull****.

First we have the attack in Lahad Datu, then the North Koreans announced war with the South Koreans out of the blue. Now what? Bombing in Boston.

It is a shame that when all these are happening, world leaders are proposing and promising world peace. Really? World peace with chaos? It is understandable that these problems can be unavoidable, and it would not be fair to point the accusing finger towards the leaders only. Is it ourselves that chose them, after all. However, I believe there is always hope in everything. There will be true peace in the world, some day, and I pray that the day will soon come.

Be strong, Boston. Keep your head held high. Heartfelt wishes and prayers to you from the other side of the globe.
