Carry On
Monday, December 3, 2012 @ 12/03/2012 11:03:00 PM

This post is inspired by the song "Carry On" by F.U.N.

I sort of discovered the song today. FUN had always been one of my favorites because of their high and unique taste of music. If we were to be more observant, (or should I say 'hear-servant'?) it is obvious that each and every song of theirs is different from those usual pop songs. From 'We Are Young" to 'Some Nights' until 'Carry On' today, I was captivated every time they sing, strongly attracted to their powerful vocals together with beautiful accompaniment. One thing for sure is that when any of their songs are played, I would go "That's gotta be FUN" straight away, whereas for some others, it would be a little hard to differentiate as their voices sound similar. Maybe it is their technique, or style, but a singer with special signature stuff never fails to blow me away.

It is the end of SPM today, thank goodness! Nothing feels special after that huge sigh when the last paper was collected. I feel so akward after examinations, no studying, no revision, no motivation, no target. Everything seems to vanish in the blink of an eye. Life after examinations seems meaningless, totally without direction, aimless. I reject this kind of lifestyle, because it makes me seem foolish, letting time slip by without realizing. But I feel that at least today I did not waste my time because I tried to search for a soon-to-be-home in KL.

Every ending will be a new beginning. SPM is over, big deal, but so what? Life must go on. Let us not take relaxation for granted but spend some time thinking and deciding the path of our future. It is never too late to plan early, at least you will have a clear direction to follow. As the SPM ends, we will carry on (with a little rest, of course) to our next destination, and to make the best out of our lives.

Cheers, may all be good, albeit separating pathways, in carrying on... until the very end.
